Sketch Page 855

15 minute face study.  Its sometimes painful going through with a painting when you can see that it's off but you don't know HOW to make it work.  Hopefully, with the more studies that I do, understanding how things work will come to me.

Klymene, the Forest Spirit - quick paint

I noticed something while at work - I am molasses slow when it comes to churning out concepts.  Ridiculously slow.  STUPID SLOW, EVEN.

So I'm going to try to focus on conveying ideas fast.  The focus isn't on a finished work (although I may go back and rework some of these pieces) the goal is to make the idea readable, quickly.  Today's quick paint was on a 30 minute timer.  As much as I wanted to keep painting on it, I forced myself to quit.  I really like how this turned out.  I'd like to visit it later but for now I will leave it alone.

Sketch Pages 732- 743

1 hour paint of the apartment across the parking lot.  Compared to the last painting of the building I think it's better!  haha I like how the windows in the first version were WAY too big and now they are teeny tiny.

Some of these drawings are a little bit old.  I haven't had much chance to scan stuff since I don't want to wake the neighbors.  My scanner is loud haha

Sketch Page 727

Colored a sketch from a couple weeks ago.  The snake has a viper bodyshape and mouth but I took the coloring from a corn snake which are very calm and non-venomous.
