Here is a color mock-up for Delsun. I thought I would play around with a cool color scheme. I like it but there are more things to try before I reach my final decision. This took about an hour and a half so it wasn't meant to be a final render.
Let me say now that I cannot WAIT to see more color progress on Delsun! He looks fantastic so far. I love how strongly the lighting plays off of his forelegs (but it looks wonderful all around). The darker shadows on his neck and chest are dramatic and define his form well.
