Kark - Man's Best Friend

I had the pleasure of working on a book cover this year.  The book is called Man's Best Friend (by LJ Stamm and RJ Evanovich) and has a pretty freakin' sweet storyline.  Check it out at www.binaltro.com.

This is a colored version of the Kark I posted earlier.  I really liked the description of this creature so I decided to do a fanart; lo and behold, it was used for the back cover!

 The top page is fan-art/web-art for Man's Best Friend, a book for which I created cover art.  This beastie is called a Kark and I think it's adorably terrifying.  Oh btw, this particular Kark measures 25 ft in length, 10 ft at the crest of it's back, and 15 ft wide. ;D

The bottom page has some reference studies for the Kark.
