Sketch Pages 716-718

In chronological order about 15 min to 45 minutes a piece.  First two are the view outside my window and the last is my pocket knife   Not very happy with these.

Apple study 2 and 3

Better this time, I think.  Apple on the left was lit from my bedroom window.  Unfortunately I started it rather late in the day so I lost my light before I could finish.  Had to guess during the render part :(

Oh!  The labels have failed me!  The middle picture is the blocking stage and the bottom one is render.

11 out of 20 sketchbook pages (will post new pages later)
5 out of 10 colored pieces.

Hm, the outlook on reaching my goal is pretty grim (dang you, Youtube!).  We'll see what happens.

Oh eugh no

I debated posting this because it's just... so awful.  oh.  oh no.  But hey, all in the name of progress.  Maybe after the 1,000th awful painting things will start improving.  At least I learned some stuff and have some idea WHY it looks awful - the colors eluded/confused me and I got impatient, thus the form was lost and became a muddled mess.

Oh, this was a digital painting from an apple-core still life.  Would have painted the apple but I ated it. o_o

Obviously not a full render.  Going to move on nonetheless.
