So it's my birthday. Phweet.

I can't really do anything fun though today. I'm ridiculously behind in my classes (fyi never get sick. If you get sick, punch your body in the FACE until you're better). Today will be spent working on a project that I can't possibly get done in time. Feels like a losing battle but hey, what's worse? Trying and failing or not trying at all? Okay now I'm more depressed.

For the past couple of weeks I've been having stress nightmares about school and family problems. I'm hoping that if I spend every waking second this week doing homework I will catch up and then that will be one stressor gone.

More sketches of Fernando (the hornbill) and the Grand Elder. I really enjoy drawing Fernando. He'd make a great friend if he'd stop, you know, accidentally setting everything on fire.

And I worked more on Offering (he is an important character in a story that has been struggling to come out of my brainmeats).

I was going to make a finished linework of Offering, and I most likely will do so later, but for right now I really like this crappy five minute sketch. It addresses Offering's nature better than I can, at the moment. He is rotting, demented, strength.

I may be over-estimating myself again... But eventually I would like to take this story and make a motion comic with it. The style would switch back and forth between tight pen and ink drawings and painterly photoshop pieces, depending on the emotions of the characters at the time. I want to make something new while maintaining the feeling that the story is an old process coming to life again.
